Rent a bike FAQ (Vienna, Baden and Mödling bike rentals)

Q. Where i can pick up the rental bike ?

There are 2 options –

1. Rental bike address delivery to Vienna (for bookings over 3 days and more). Usually we deliver bike at 8:00 and picking-up it at 19:00. Please ask us about FREE RENTAL BIKE DELIVERY options available at the moment.
2. Self pick-up in Guntramsdorf ( 15 minutes drive from Vienna ). The self-pickup available as a complete contactless option – we will prepare your bike at the pick-up station and you can take it any time durinh the paid rental period.

Q. How can i pay for bike tour or the rental service ?

You can use online card payment, online email invoice, cash, PayPal.

Q. How old your rental bikes are ?

Normally its last year models. But anyway, all bike always professionally serviced and prepared for your adveture. Before the every ride the bike checked and cleaned by a professional bike mechanic. All weared or damaged components are changed immidiatelly

Q. Can i pick up and return the bike durring the day ? ( i dont know  the exact time )

Yes, you can. We have self pickup and drop options, just contact us and ask ( the services should be paid beforeahed). If you choosed and paid self-pick up options you will get all information about how to get your bike. In simple words – your bike will be prepared, transfered to pick-up station. After that you will get full and simple instructions how to pick up your rental bike

Q. Should i pay bike damage deposit ?

You can pay the refundable bike damage deposit ( starting approx. 100 EUR) or you can buy additional bike damage insurance (starting from 5 UER per day). It can be paid online or by cash.

Q. What should i have to rent a bike ?

Its easy. You are 18 years old or more and you have valid national ID (passport, drivers license).

Q. Do you have helmet, pedals, rack, panniers or other stuff to rent ?

Yes, sure. Just let us to know what you need and we will manage this. We can configure your personal rental bike depending of your trip type. Please make your accsessories request beforeahed, because it could be not easy to install all bike acsessories whaen you come to take your rental bike in Vienna or Guntramsdorf

Q. Can i rent a bike at the place without pre-booking or rent the bike the same day ?

Sometimes its possible, but if we dont have booking from you, probably the bike you need will be not available. First of all we need time to prepare bike for customer, make a reservation for the bike you want to rent.

We are making extra quality rental service and sometimes its cant be done immidiatelly. Please contact us and make booking at least for 1-2 days before.

Q. I am younger that 18 years old. Can i rent a bike or book the bike tour ?

Its great thet we have so young clients, but rental agreement and wiever should be signed by person older than 18 YO with valid ID cards.

Q. If i will get technical problems on the trail or in the mountains can you help me ?

We always trying to help our customers, but sometimes these options are not available. If someone from our team are available and ready to go – we will help immidiately. Please note technical support or evacuation can be charged additionally.

Bike tours F.A.Q.

Q. Can i join the group bike tour ?

Sorry, at this moment we offer only high class private bike tours. It means we can do the tour only for you and for couple of your friends. But we recommend to check our private tour prices – its quite affordable as for personal guided private mountain bike tours.

Q. Is the bike rental price included on tour price ?

We have few price options for every tour you can find at our website. Feel free to ask if you have some doubts about the price.

Q. If I get tired or bored during the bike tour, can we change it along the way?

Yes, of course. but we try to develop a tour program in advance to suit your capabilities and needs, to avoid such situations

Q. Who is the tour guide ?

Usually it’s me. My name is Yurii. 25 years on a bike, 15 years of experience in conducting group and private bike tours, about 100 thousand kilometers of experience in mountain, road and gravel biking, 35 countries visited with a bike as a tourist or guide.

Q. I am insured during the tour ?

Personal insurance should be provided by customer.
