Each bike that you rent from us must be either insured or have a small refundable deposit paid for it.
- Insurance against minor and medium damage (cost from 5 euros per day per bike).
We recommend choosing this option for those cyclists who want to protect themselves from possible troubles associated with the bike during the entire rental period.
This type of insurance COVERS all minor and medium damage such as scratches, paint chips, falls and their consequences, damaged components, switches, brakes, damaged grips, handlebar tape, broken chain, spokes, etc.
The cost of this insurance DOES NOT INCLUDE theft of the bike and global damage to the bike (damage to the frame, fork caused by a collision, complete loss of functionality of the bike, a car hitting a bike, etc.)
How to get this insurance? It’s simple – you can choose this option when booking a bike on our website.
Example – If you rent a bike worth 35 euros for 5 days (175 euros), then insurance will cost you an additional 25 euros. The total rental amount of an insured bike will be 200 euros.
- Refundable deposit (cost from 100 euros per bike for the entire rental period)
We recommend choosing this option for confident and careful cyclists who prefer not to spend extra money on insurance.
How does it work?
When you receive the bike, you pay a separate amount of 100 euros in cash (this amount is paid in cash so that you don’t have to wait several weeks for the money to be returned to your account from the bank) for 1 bike. This amount is returned to you when you return the bike without any visible serious damage.
What if you paid this deposit, but the bike received some damage during riding? We will deduct the cost of damaged components and the cost of labor to replace them from your deposit. If the bike is more seriously damaged, you will be required to pay additional costs to repair or replace the bike.
When renting a bike, you can choose ONE OF the TWO options above.
